1. Information Collection and Use 1.1 Local Data Storage (Offline-First) IdeaVault is designed with a strict offline-first architecture. Your Ideas are Yours: All ideas, quick notes, tags, categories, and analytical statistics that you create are stored locally and exclusively on your mobile device (utilizing secure system SharedPreferences). No Server Transmission: We do not host, store, or transmit your thoughts, notes, or any personal data to external cloud servers, databases, or third-party networks. No Account Creation: You do not need to register an account, provide an email address, or input personal identifiers to use the Application.
2. Permissions Required The Application requires minimal standard platform permissions to function smoothly on your device: Local Storage / Core Sandbox: Used strictly to read and write your locally stored ideas to the application’s private database/SharedPreferences sandbox. No Network Permissions: The Application does not request or require active internet permissions for data extraction, advertisement tracking, or analytic telemetry.
3. Third-Party Services We care deeply about keeping your space distraction-free and private: The Application does not integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising networks, tracking pixels, or external analytical platforms (such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics). Your usage patterns, creation trend analytics, and workspace theme configurations remain entirely processed in-memory and on-device.
4. Data Security The security of your intellectual property is paramount to us. Because your data is stored entirely in your device's private sandboxed storage: Your data is protected by the native security protocols of your Android operating system. We recommend securing your physical mobile device with a passcode, PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication to prevent unauthorized physical access to your local IdeaVault workspace. Please note that since we have no access to your data, we cannot recover your ideas if your device is lost, stolen, or factory reset.
